Job Description:

Panera Bread has an opening for Cafe Administrative Assistant for its Council Street location. This is a Monday through Friday, 6 hours a day administrative position assisting our cafe managers.

Job Duties

  • Compile paperwork for weekly packet sent to company office.
  • Enter invoices on the Period File and verify records.
  • Maintain records for attendance, training and driving and run reports as necessary.
  • Answer cafe phone from 11am to 1pm, enter delivery orders, and dispatch delivery drivers.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees including electronic paperwork and ordering name tags.
  • Draft disciplinary actions for manager review.
  • Complete payroll notifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:


  • One to three years of administrative experience
  • Strong computer experience including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements

  • Will work in a cafe office environment with occasional standing or walking to perform the essential functions.
  • Will be required to occasionally lift up to twenty pounds during the course of a workday.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and team members.
