What You’ll Be Doing - Repair& Maintenance

  • Provide first line of response to facility maintenance needs. Inspect and diagnose problems.
  • Monitor and follow up with vendors.
  • Complete audits on all locations quarterly and ensure completion of repairs.
  • Perform minor interior and exterior repairs.
  • Some daytime travel may be required to other Panera Bread markets in Eastern Iowa.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain tools, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate work records of preventative maintenance inspection reports, work schedules, backlogs, and completed work orders using mobile app.

Safety Focused!

  • Promote safety by example by adhering to safety practices.
  • Resolve and/or report any unsafe working conditions.

 

Experience and Skills:

Do You Possess These?

  • High school diploma or GED combined with an aptitude for maintenance and repair. Prior maintenance experience is a plus.
  • A general knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting practices and procedures.
  • Operating knowledge of manual and small power tools commonly used in carpentry, construction, grounds, and maintenance trades.
  • Ability to read and comprehend manuals for equipment and systems.
  • A general knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work varying shifts for completion of tasks. Depending on tasks some early morning/late evening hours may be necessary
  • Your own tools or you can use those provided.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, crawl and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs as needed.
  • Must be able to climb on a ladder at 20 ft as needed.
  • Must be able to work in heat and cold as needed.
